Provided are a gasket unit and a spherical joint unit that are very easy to assemble, with which strange noises can be prevented. A spherical joint unit (1), which is used in an exhaust system of an automobile, comprises an engine-side exhaust pipe (2a), a rear-muffler-side exhaust pipe (2b), a flange (3) and gasket (4) attached to the exhaust pipe (2a), a flange-equipped gasket seat (5) attached to the exhaust pipe (2b), and a spring-equipped bolt (6) and nut (7) for linking the exhaust pipes (2a, 2b). A rib (45) is formed along an axial O direction in an inner peripheral surface (44) of the gasket (4). On an outer peripheral surface (21a) of the exhaust pipe (2a) on which the gasket (4) is mounted, a groove (22a) accommodating the rib (45) is formed axially inward from an end part (20a) along the axial O direction. |
