<p>PURPOSE:To surely transmit a video signal from a video signal transmitting equipment to a receiver and to normally record the video signal by adding a video signal transmission checking device for checking whether a transmission line is terminated or not and whether a transmission line is correctly connected or not. CONSTITUTION:When the transmission line 87 is interrupted or disconnected from an input terminal 92, the amplitude of a video signal is increased. A signal is outputted from a comparator 84 to an alarm means 85 based on the increment of the amplitude. Thereby, the means 85 informs no transmission of a video signal to a down part or no termination of the video signal receiver to an operator. Even when a video signal including no synchronizing signal is transmitted or the video signal receiver does not have a function for monitoring a video signal, the operator can surely recognize the interruption of transmission of the video signal and recognize the deterioration of picture quality due to the incomplete termination of the video signal receiver.</p> |
