PURPOSE:To improve the availability and the convenience of a communication system by editing and producing a desired manual after analyzing the data stored in a data storage means and then combining the explanation data on the operating contents of each processing step stored in an instruction information storage means. CONSTITUTION:A data storage part 19 stores the data necessary for production of an operating manual out of those data received from a facsimile equipment of the remote side via the circuits L1 - Ln. An editing control part 23 analyzes the data stored in the part 19 and decides the type of the manual requested by the operator of the remote side, the degree of expertness of the operator, etc., after the reception of a request for the manual. Then the explanation data on the operations of each processing step necessary for attainment of the function of a facsimile mail equipment 1 are read out of an instruction information storage part 21 and then edited into an operating manual through a manual generating buffer 14. Thus the availability and the convenience are improved in a communication system. |
