PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of suppressing the useless planning of a control plan.SOLUTION: A vehicle control system includes: travel plan route acquisition means for acquiring a travel plan route of a vehicle; overlapping determination means for determining whether an overlapping section where the vehicle travels in the same section multiple times is included in the travel plan route; detour section deletion means for deleting a detour section by which the overlapping section is generated from the travel plan route when the travel plan route includes the overlapping section; control plan planning means for planning a control plan of vehicle control in the vehicle on the basis of the travel plan route after the deletion of the detour section; and vehicle control means for performing the vehicle control on the basis of the control plan.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
