PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle remote operation system, a portable relay machine and an on-vehicle relay machine, capable of reliably performing the remote operation of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle remote operation system 1 includes: an on-vehicle relay machine 10 communicable with a vehicle control device 110; and a portable relay machine 20 communicable with a portable unit 120. The vehicle control device 110 transmits a signal at the first level and a signal at the second level different from the first level as response request signals. The portable relay machine 20 receives the response request signals wirelessly transmitted from the on-vehicle relay machine 10 and transmits a signal at the first relay level corresponding to the first level and a signal at the second relay level corresponding to the second level to the portable unit 120 as response request signals.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
