The invention relates to a seismic energy dissipator with hysteretic horizontal damping behavior, which comprises a plurality of mechanisms that interact with each other to dissipate the energy induced by different dynamic actions. The present invention is based on the use of a damping spiral which dissipates by bending and is actuated by the induction of a rotation caused by a rotary disc which, by means of oblique guides, runs along helicoidal channels that cause the disc to rotate and actuate other mechanisms. The invention also comprises a transmitter mechanism that is connected to a wind-brace and receives and transmits the required force to the other mechanisms which are actuated and begin dampening. |
