A liquid crystal panel (2) comprises a scan signal line (31) for supplying a scanning signal to the gate electrode (20) of a TFT (14), and a data signal line (32) for supplying a data signal to the data electrode (24) of the TFT. The liquid crystal panel is further provided with an auxiliary capacity-use electrode pad (27a) for forming an auxiliary capacity and an auxiliary capacity wiring (33) so that a capacity coupling is not generally generated with respect to the scanning signal line. Since the liquid crystal panel is driven at a screen rewriting frequency of up to 30 Hz, it is driven with a low power consumption without sacrifice in a display grade.
