PURPOSE: A buoyancy type movable gate is provided to function as a water stopper using buoyancy by an empty space in a water gate, to maximize the sectional area of water discharge capacity by filing up a water gate with water at overturn, to reduce the maintenance cost by using a pump only for discharging water in a water gate and to prevent the river pollution caused by stagnant underflow by discharging through an underflow outlet. CONSTITUTION: The buoyancy type movable gate closes a channel by coupling a water gate(20) rotatively to a fixed shaft fixed to a wall and supplying water in a water gate using a pump(30) and opens a channel using buoyancy by discharging the water in the water gate. If a rotary shaft(11) of a water gate(20) is located on the lower part, soil inflow preventing devices(23,24) are installed on the upper and lower streams to prevent an inflow of soils to the lower part of the water gate, and deflectors(22) are installed at regular intervals to deflect a water route. If a rotary shaft(11) of a water gate(20) is located on the upper part, the buoyancy type movable gate functions as a fishway by shutting a channel by filling up with water using a pump(30) located to the outside of the water gate(20) and by opening the lower part when a water gate opens using a pump(31) installed in the water gate(20) to discharge the underflow and to prevent water pollution.
