Apparatus with a flow passage 34 and a flow region 52 in communication with the passage, a tool, which may be an electric generator 60, operative in conjunction with fluid in the flow region. In the passage are multiple fluid restrictors 40. An internal dimension 42, permitting acces through the restrictors, may vary in response to fluid flow through the passage.The restrictors may be annular-shaped rings of different cross sections and they may have annular-shaped projections. The flow region may be on a first lateral side of the passage and at the intersection having a smooth profile ( fig. 12). In an embodiment ( fig. 15 ) an electrical power generating system consist of a flow passage, a flow rotating structure influencing the fluid to rotate and a rotationally device, rotating due to the rotation of the fluid. In another embodiment ( fig. 10 ) there is a flow restricting device which, when the flow through the apparatus increases, increases the flow through the flow region. |
