<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector improved in operability in focusing or zooming and hardly limited in size or appearance. <P>SOLUTION: By rotating a turntable 7 rotatably embedded in an outside case 4, the second cylindrical part 32 of a lens barrel 30 is extended by a required amount in a leading edge direction through a slot 72 and a pin 32a, or withdrawn to a base side. Thus, the focus state of a projection lens 29 is changed, and focusing using the turntable 7 is achieved. The direction of the rotary shaft RA of the turntable 7 is set to a direction orthogonal to the optical axis OA of the projection lens 29, and the top surface US of the turntable 7 is elongated in a parallel direction with the optical axis OA, so that the turntable 7 and the projection lens 29 are efficiently held in narrow space, and the limits on the size and the appearance of the projector 2 are reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
