A solar photovoltaic device according to one embodiment of this disclosure comprises a solar cell module installed on the eave-side of a roof, and a solar cell module disposed adjacent to the solar cell module on the ridge side. A frame comprises an inner groove to accommodate the peripheral edge of a solar cell panel, an outer groove provided on the side opposite to the solar cell panel, and an inner flange extending to the inside of the solar cell module. The solar photovoltaic device comprises a lower fitting that holds the inner flange of the frame and an upper fitting that is disposed above the lower fitting and that comprises a first inserting portion inserted into the inner flange of the frame and a second inserting portion inserted into the outer groove of the frame.
