<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable running control for assembly line to be manually executed when there occurs any delay in operation and so on, and also enable the assembly line to be automatically suspended when no scheduled work is accomplished within the moving time of each work at each work station. SOLUTION: This work management system for mounting parts onto each work W being moved over the assembly line, or machining each work, is so constituted as to be formed into following. A line manual control device 49 is provided, executing the running control of the assembly line 1 by means of operations applied by plural work stations set up every work unit along the assembly line 1. Both a sensor 21 detecting that parts are taken out of a part housing box 18, and a sensor 26 detecting the usage of a tool 26 for mounting or machining each part, are provided. Upon no detection is made by these sensors 21 and 26 within the moving time of each part from a work station for which the sensor is arranged, to the next work station for which the other sensor is provided, the assembly line 1 is immediately suspended by means of a line automatic control device 50.</p> |
