PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation pile storing a band body to be expanded between piles and capable of being stored easily in the pile. SOLUTION: This pile storing a band body for expansion comprises a bar- shaped pile body and a tubular storage part provided at the top part of the pile body. The band body for expansion and windup means are installed in the storage part, and the band body is wound so as to be wound up and down by windup means. Also, an opening through which the band body is passed is provided in the storage part, and the tip part of the band body is projected from the opening. Then, an engagement part to which the tip of the band material is engaged is formed on the side surface of the storage part.
