PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use and a fiber each containing a xanthine derivative and increased in its percutaneous absorbability. SOLUTION: The skin care preparation and the fiber are obtained each by compounding the xanthine derivative and one or more component selected from the group consisting of isostearyl alcohol, diisopropyl sebacate and an alkylene polyglycol dineopentanoate.
