<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a beverage container which can be carried with an easier mind than before by a user. <P>SOLUTION: In a portable beverage container 1, a closing member 25 is equipped with a cylindrical projecting part 27 which is protruded from an outer surface of a plug body 10 through a top part 5 of the plug body 10, and a vent hole 33 which is formed in the cylindrical projecting part 27 to communicate the inside of a container body 2 with outside air. A lid 7 has a closing projecting part 48 for closing the vent hole 33 in a closed state. Thus, in the portable beverage container 1, the closing projecting part 48 can be reliably pressed against the cylindrical projecting part 27, and when the lid 7 is maintained in a closed state by a locking mechanism 8, the vent hole 33 can be reliably and continuously closed by the closing projecting part 48 by the force applied to the closing projecting part 48 by the lid 7. Even when the container body 2 is toppled, leakage of a beverage from the inside of the container body 2 can be more prevented than before, and a user can carry the container with an easier mind than before. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
