<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from deteriorating due to falling of an object into an optical writing device that writes latent images. <P>SOLUTION: At a first movable portion 76, an energizing member 80 is fitted above a shaft portion 74, and the energizing member 80 energizes so as to rotate to the front side. A second movable portion 78 is a plate type member, having opening portions 82a to 82d for opening exposure windows 65a to 65d of the optical writing device 64 and is energized toward the back side by an energizing member 84 having force weaker than the force with which the energizing member 80 energizes the first movable portion 76. When an operator opens an opening/closing cover, the first movable portion 76 is made to rotate by the energizing member 80 and to move to the front side, and the second movable portion 78 moves to the front side so that the opening portions 82a to 82d move away from the exposure windows 65a to 65d, respectively, and stops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
