PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, lightweight and highly reliable multiblade impeller which provides high fixing rigidity among a main shroud, a side shroud, and blades, has highly rigid main shroud and side shroud, and improving performance of a product to be used. SOLUTION: This multiblade impeller is provided with the main shroud 1, the side shroud 2 having a suction port in its center, and plural blades 3 arranged between the main shroud 1 and the side shroud 2 and extending arcuately in a radial direction. The main shroud 1 and side shroud 2 have plural ridges 1a, 2a which match with the shape of the blades 3 extending arcuately in the radial direction and extend arcuately in the radial direction. The ends 3a of the blades 3 are inserted into grooves 1b, 2b formed inside the ridges 1a, 2a of the main shroud 1 and side shroud 2, and also bent to be fixed to the ridges 1a, 2a.
