<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle made of a synthetic resin, in which moldability and weight-saving can be ensured, and deformation due to expansion or contraction of the bottle can be absorbed, and which has a deep recess so as to be easily grasped and has a high strength, thereby preventing deformations. SOLUTION: A grasping recess 6 is provided on either side of a body part 3 of a bottle body 5 comprising a mouth part 2, the body part 3 and a bottom part 4. Each of the recesses 6 on both sides is surrounded by a flat part 7, while the body part in opposition to the grasping side body parts comprising both the grasping recesses 6 forms a label part 14. A vertical bead 16 is provided on the body part 3 located, in the axial direction of the part 3, between the part 14 and the recesses 6 on both sides, whereby the recesses 6 and flat part 7, as a whole, serve as a panel and absorbs a change in the volume of the bottle, while the bead 16 acts so as to absorb the change in the volume, and further the label part 14 is displaced in a convex form to prevent a concave deformation of the part 14.</p> |
