<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat device capable of easily presenting an excellent appearance by illumination with a simple structure and of restraining an increase in manufacturing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The toilet seat device 1 includes a main body 10 to be fixed to a Western-style and flush toilet bowl 9, the seat 20 swingably provided at the main body 10 and downward swingable on the stool 9 and on which a person is able to sit, and a toilet cover 30 swingably provided at the main body 10 or at the seat 20 and downward swingable on the stool 9 to make itself closed. The cover 30 has a surface-side transparent part 33 provided at the whole of a surface side and made of a transparent material and a surface-side illuminating light source 34 embedded in the rear end 39 on the side of the main body 10 at the edge of the transparent part 33 and consisting of an LED (light-emitting diode) capable of illuminating the inside of the transparent part 33 through illumination with energization from the main body 10, wherein the cover 30 has an opaque part 35 provided on the whole of the back side of the transparent part 33 and consisting of an opaque material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
