PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel which can improve its hub rigidity and prevent itself from sticking to the die cavity when molding. SOLUTION: The rigidity of a reel hub 32 is improved by adding a metal ring 112 to the inside of the cylinder 34 composing the reel hub 32 and integrally molding them. Further, by forming undercuts 114 around the engaging gear 48, the reel hub 32 and the upper flange 38 are forcibly pulled out from the molding die core in the releasing direction. In other words, the reel hub 32 is made to cling harder to its die core when opening the metal die. Thus, it is prevented from sticking to the die cavity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
