PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus capable of accurately displaying a self-vehicle position mark at a branch point of a very small angle. SOLUTION: In the case that the road name of a road matched immediately before and the road name of a road candidate match each other when the navigation apparatus determines an optimal road from among a plurality of matching candidates (road candidates), the navigation apparatus weights a coefficient in such a way that the road candidate may be easily matched.
