PURPOSE: A game apparatus, a control method thereof, and an information storage media are provided to easily get scores relatively in case of a special case. CONSTITUTION: The control method of the game apparatus includes: a first control step of controlling a location of a player character(46) belonged to a first team when a player character belonged to a second team keeps a moving object; a second control step of controlling the location of the player character belonged to the first team when the player character belonged to the second team keeps a moving object; a step of judging whether a predetermined condition is satisfied with or not; and a transfer of-control step of executing the second control step instead of the first step to control the location of the player character belonged to the first team, if the condition is satisfied.
