PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat having a seat surface section of a planar elastic body, wherein the seat surface section of which the seating property is favorable, and which can stabilize a posture at the time of a seating, can be formed by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A seat surface section is formed by stretching a sheet form elastic body 2 comprising a textile or a knitted article for which an elastic yarn is used at least as a weft or a warp, wherein an elasticity distribution is changed, on the inside of a frame body 1. As a concrete example, the seat surface section extending from a lower side 2c excepting seat surface sections 2a and 2b which support the vicinity of scapula, to an upper side is formed into an elastic surface of a tension being suitable for the supporting of a seater, and the seat surface sections 2a and 2b which support the vicinity of scapula are formed into an elastic surface of a relatively low tension.
