PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a great amount of wood chip molded products using a natural substance as a binder at a low cost. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a wood chip molded product 16 comprises a kneading process S1 wherein kneading is carried out by adding water 13 in an amount of about 40 wt.% of wood chip 11 to the wood chip 11 and a glucomannan powder 12 of 6.0 wt.% to the wood chip; a pressure molding process S2 wherein pressure molding is carried out by installing a mold into which a wood chip molding material 14 being a mixture obtained by the kneading process is cast, is installed to a hot press device; and a drying and solidifying process S3 wherein the wood chip semi-manufactured product 15 obtained by the pressure molding process, is dried and solidified.
