<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost branch structure of a flat circuit body having a small number of components. <P>SOLUTION: When a folded end or a superposed end for branching and connecting a flat circuit body 10 is formed on the flat circuit body 10, an insulating film of the flat circuit body is removed in a predetermined range to form a conductor exposure part 3 for exposing respective conductors 1 therefrom in the folded end or the superposed end; the folded end or the superposed end is inserted into a first connector housing 5 from a flat circuit body insertion opening 5a; a second connector housing 6 provided with terminal housing chambers 6a housing insulation displacement terminals 7 attached to tips of wires 20 is fitted in the first connector housing 5 from a housing fitting opening 5b; and the respective insulation displacement terminals 7 housed in the respective terminal housing chambers of the second connector housing to project terminal tips are brought into press contact with the conductor exposure part 3 of the folded end or the superposed end inserted in the first connector housing to branch and connect the flat circuit body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
