PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve driving performance exerted upon reverse running.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle comprises an engine, a first motor, a planetary gear mechanism, a second motor, a battery, and an air pressure adjustment device. The planetary gear mechanism is configured in such a way that a sun gear is coupled to a rotation shaft of the first motor, a carrier is coupled to an output shaft of the engine, and a ring gear is coupled to a drive axle which is coupled to a driving wheel. The air pressure adjustment device adjusts inflation pressure of a tire attached to the driving wheel. In such a hybrid vehicle, when driving force is insufficient (S120-S150) during reverse running, tire inflation pressure is reduced relative to reference pressure to reduce a tire effective radius (S160). Driving force of the driving wheel therefore can be increased, and driving performance during reverse running can be further increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
