PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus capable of covering a paper projecting from an opening during printing operation in a range longer than that of prior arts with a structure simpler than that of the prior arts.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus 100a printing on a printing paper P includes: a body 1 having an opening part 16 formed therein, from which the printing paper P projects; and a cover 2a rotatably provided to the body 1 and having a protection part 21 capable of moving to a closed position (first position) overlapped on an upper surface of the body 1 and an open position (second position) covering a printing surface of the printing paper P projecting from the opening part 16 formed in the body 1. |
