This invention relates to a handle attachment adapted to facilitate the operation of a handle or tap, having particular application for use by arthritis sufferers and people with other disabilities making it difficult to manipulate taps or other handles with their fingers and/or wrists. The handle attachment in its preferred form has a grippable handle, a head portion connected to or integrally formed with the handle and having apertures through which are engaged elongate members or pins. The pins are parallel to one another and substantially transverse to the handle and each pin is separately free to move axially in relation to the head portion. The pins may have enlargements or flanges which prevent them from disengaging from the head portion. The configuration and independent free movement of the pins enables the handle attachment to be used to apply leverage to a tap or other form of handle and manipulate that tap or handle without complex finger and wrist movements. |
