PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter capable of preventing a lock mechanism from being unlocked even if a hand application lever member turns due to impact force from the outside. SOLUTION: This shutter is provided with a shutter case storing a winding part for winding up and down a shutter plate, a guide rail for guiding both side parts of the shutter plate so as to elevate and lower, the lock mechanism 12 provided in an end plate part 10 of the shutter plate to lock it at a closing position, and the hand application lever member 13 formed at large length along the longitudinal direction on a rear side of the end plate part 10 and provided so as to turn around a horizontal shaft. The hand application lever member 13 can slide in the longitudinal direction, and its end on one side is used as a stand-by position A. The hand application lever member 13 has a cut-out part 40 coming into non-contact with the lock mechanism 12 even if it turns due to the impact force from the outside when it is at the stand-by position A.
