<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for ink-jet printing, which prevent color stain while preventing bleeding even if a reactive dye ink and a treatment liquid are approximately simultaneously applied by ink-jet printing. <P>SOLUTION: A fabric surface image 13 includes a colored pattern including a gradation dyeing region 4 and adjacent dyeing regions 5 and 6. In a pretreatment region 10, a gradation pretreatment region 11 including a high-intensity pretreatment region 11a and a low-intensity pretreatment region 11b is formed so that the intensity is changed in accordance with a change in color intensity in the gradation dyeing region 4. Since the treatment liquid contains a blot inhibitor, the occurrence of color bleeding on a fabric surface is prevented. Since the low-intensity pretreatment region 11b corresponds to the low-intensity part 4b of the gradation dyeing region 4, when the blot inhibitor properly pulls a dye close, the blot inhibitor is not excessive and does not cause a color stain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
