PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of and a device for producing a cap liner, capable of preparing the cap liner in which a ring-shaped hermetic layer is formed on a hard disc (slide layer), and to provide the cap liner produced by the method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for production of a cap liner 2 installed in a bottomed cylindrical cap body 1 comprising a top plate 1a and a cylindrical peripheral wall 1b. The cap liner comprises a disk-like slide layer 2a disposed contacting the inner face of the top plate, and a toric hermetic layer 2b made of a synthetic resin more flexible than the slide layer and laminated to the slide layer. The method includes a resin coating process of coating a molten synthetic resin R to be a hermetic layer on the slide layer, and a hermetic layer-molding process of casting the molten synthetic resin to the toric hermetic layer. In the resin coating process, the molten resin is coated on the slide layer which is previously heated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
