PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member for a hermetic rolling bearing improving lubrication as a constitution of sealing a somewhat larger quantity of grease and elongating the serviceable lives of a bearing and the grease and to provide the hermetic rolling bearing disposed with the seal member. SOLUTION: The volume of the bearing space is enlarged by providing a hole 10 capable of retaining the grease in the inner face of a core part of the seal member opposite to the bearing inside space.
