VIRTUAL STORAGE MIGRATION TECHNIQUE TO MINIMIZE SPINNING DISKS

PURPOSE: A virtual storage migration technique to minimize spinning disks is provided to enable data storage device to access to data and saves energy of the data storage device. CONSTITUTION: A data which is stored in an active data storage device is provided. A conservation data storage device is selected from active data storage devices. The data is conserved in the conservation data storage device and the conservation data storage device is maintained in power increasing state during predetermined time. After a part of conservation data is accessed, the conservation data which the amount is previously selected is moved to at least one of active data storage devices(136). Power of the conservation data storage device is deteriorated.
