<p>A method for setting a key in a key input device is provided to reduce probability pressing other keys around the desired key in a terminal embedded with a keypad by changing/setting a key operation section and position of the keypad when the terminal equipped with the displayable keypad, which comprises polycarbonate applying a pressure sensor and an FSR(Force Sensitive Resistor), is operated by only the key input. When a user selects a key setting mode in the terminal equipped with the keypad, a divided area is set to the key operation section by receiving coordinates from the user and dividing the keypad with a line connecting between the received coordinates(S24). When a predetermined function is performed in the terminal, the key assigned to each key operation section is received from the terminal and the function of the inputted key is matched with each set key operation section(S28). Matching information between the key and the function is stored together with the key operation section(S29).</p> |
