PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zirconium crucible for melting an analysis sample capable of suppressing contamination of impurities from a crucible by using a high-purity crucible, heightening durability of high-purity zirconium which is an expensive crucible material, and increasing the number of times of use of the zirconium crucible, in consideration of a recent analysis technology wherein quick and accurate measurement of a high-purity material is required. SOLUTION: This zirconium crucible for melting, used for pretreatment of an analysis sample has characteristics wherein a purity excluding a gas component is over 3N, and gas component carbon is not more than 100 mass ppm.
