PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window frame excel lent in flame-retardancy and heat insulation and showing better form retentivity in a high temperature atmosphere in the case a fire breaks out. SOLUTION: A window frame is so constituted that heat insulating sections 8 and 9 are provided between indoor side frame members 4 and 5 and outdoor side frame members 6 and 7. In that case, the heat insulating sections 8 and 9 are constituted of a resin forming body formed of thermoplastic resin composition compounding glass fiber 30-200 pts.wt. longer than 4 mm of the length of the fiber and glass frit 15-150 pts.wt. of melting temperature 350-800 deg.C with thermoplastic resin 100 pts.wt. |
