PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen type shutter device which can simplify the shape and structure of an anti-deflection member to be provided in a shutter curtain. SOLUTION: In this screen type shutter device, the shutter curtain 30, which is guided by left and right guide rails 31 so as to be made freely openable/closable, is provided with the anti-deflection member 51, both the ends of which are slidably inserted into the guide rails 31 so as to prevent the curtain 30 from being deflected in the thickness direction of the curtain, and the anti-deflection member 51 is arranged in a part of a screen 50 which forms a curtain body of the shutter curtain 30 and which has continuity in the direction of the opening/closing movement of the curtain 30, so as to serve as a rod-shaped member which is housed inside a bag part 52 formed in the part of the screen 50.
