Machine designed for levelling off the thickness of terrazzo floor tiles on both faces for their subsequent roughing with a view to improving the performance of the machining and polishing machines. It is formed by a calibrator head 02 composed of a diamond-covered disc located horizontally, actuated by motor 12 which can be adjusted in terms of height by means of hydraulic cylinder 06. Next, we pass via diamond- coated discs mounted on two fixed shafts 09, each driven by motors 08, achieving the removal of part of the dry matter of the component by means of vertical cuts. The greater or lesser depth of the furrows is achieved by means of the vertical adjustment of the bench 10 which is mounted on cams (eccentrics), also giving us the possibility of not carrying out any machining operation but only a calibration, since it is possible to lower the calibrator head and possible to shave off the reverse, achieving levelling-off of the thickness of the floor tiles with relief, improving the work of the polishers. <IMAGE>
