<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for infrared laser-sensitive lithographic printing having good chemical resistance, capable of realizing excellent dissolution discrimination, and excellent in image reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate for lithographic printing has on a support a positive recording layer containing a polymer having a urea bond in a side chain and an acid-coloring dye represented by formula (1) wherein rings A, B and C each independently represents a mono- to trinuclear aromatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic heterocyclic group, at least one of the rings B and C has at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of amino, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio and arylthio. W<SP>1</SP>represents carbonyl, thiocarbonyl or the like; Q<SP>1</SP>represents O, S or imino; R<SP>11</SP>-R<SP>14</SP>each independently represents H or a hydrocarbon group; and m and n each independently represents 0 or 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
