PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing beam and a unit building making use thereof capable of facilitating the joint work for forming a large space having no column. SOLUTION: A reinforcing beam equipped with a pair of plates 71 and a corrugated plate 72 provided between the plates 71 is provided between ceiling beams 52 of adjoining large space building units, and it is connected to the ceiling beams 52A on both sides. By the constitution, since the building units are reinforced, a complicated mounting structure such as a lattice beam is not required, and joint work of the reinforcing beam 70 to the ceiling beams 52A can be facilitated. Since the reinforcing beam 70 is formed of the plates 71 and corrugated plate 72, even when specific rigidity is ensured by the reinforcing beam 70, the weight of the reinforcing beam 70 is not heavy, and the reinforcing beam 70 can be easily handled.
