<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for controlling the closing state of an air preheater, automatically preparing a pressure difference rise predicted line indicating transition of the closing state of the air preheater. <P>SOLUTION: The device 1 for controlling the air preheater 2 attached to a boiler facility includes: a pressure difference DB 21 for storing an air side pressure difference P<SB>a1</SB>which is a pressure difference between an air supply port and an air discharge port and a gas side pressure difference P<SB>g1</SB>which is a pressure difference between an exhaust gas supply port and an exhaust gas discharge port; a coefficient calculation part for identifying a formula of an air side pressure difference rise predicted line by using the past air side pressure difference P<SB>a1</SB>stored in the pressure difference DB 21 and a formula of a gas side pressure difference rise predicted line by using the past air side pressure difference P<SB>g1</SB>; a preparation part for preparing the air side pressure difference rise predicted line and the gas side pressure difference rise predicted line by using the formula of the air side pressure difference rise predicted line and the formula of the gas side pressure difference rise predicted line; and a closing ratio calculation part for calculating a closing ratio of the air preheater 2 based on a current cross section area A and an initial cross section area A<SB>0</SB>of the air preheater 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
