ULTRASONIC FLAW DETECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic flaw detection method of an object to be inspected large in scattering noise. SOLUTION: When an ultrasonic beam is transmitted from an ultrasonic probe, the ultrasonic beam and the object to be inspected are acoustically coupled by a local water immersion method and the ultrasonic beam is scanned in a long side direction in the case of a rectangular ultrasonic beam and scanned in a long axis direction in the case of an oval ultrasonic beam. The ultrasonic probe is scanned in a long axis direction in the case of a line focus type ultrasonic beam to receive the reflected waves at the different positions on the scanning direction and synthesized by the delay time corresponding to the receiving position to detect the faw in the object to be detected.
