A system and a method for performing premise monitoring based on weight detection are provided to check conditions of premises based on detected weight pressure patterns by monitoring weights generated in the premises. A system includes at least one pressure sensor(140) and a processor(112). The processor determines existence of a state to be processed based on signals received from the pressure sensor and parameters related to the signals. The parameters are selected from a list of reception time of readouts, the number of sensors, relative positions of sensors, weight amounts applied to the sensors, periodic repetitions, collision intensity, collision periods, obtained paths, prediction paths to be obtained, speeds, event periods, and the number of simultaneous readouts.
