PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood which notifies a user of time for cleaning a filter by setting a temperature sensor to a suction port to let the user know the contamination degree and the deterioration state of the filter.SOLUTION: A range hood 1 includes: a discharge port 3 set to the upper part of a cooking utensil 2 and communicating with the outdoor side; a suction port 4 sucking air; an exhaust fan 5 sucking and exhausting air in a ventilation path connecting the discharge port 3 and the suction port 4; and a filter 6 collecting sucked dirt. The suction port 4 of the range hood 1 is provided with temperature detecting means 7 detecting the temperature of the air sucked through the suction port 4. The range hood 1 includes a control part 8 determining the degree of dirt of the filter to notify a user of filter cleaning; and notification means 9 performing notification operation for requirement of cleaning of the filter on the basis of signals from the control part 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
