PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor element, sensor wire, and sensor element manufacturing method configured to measure a physiological variable or any other signal in a living body and to generate a sensor signal in response to the variable or other signal.SOLUTION: The sensor element comprises: a sensor support body; a sensor unit mounted on the sensor support body, configured to measure a physiological variable or any other signal in a living body and to generate a sensor signal in response to the variable or other signal, and including a cavity covered with a thin film; a plurality of contact members mounted on the sensor support body and configured to electrically connect to at least one signal transmitting microcable; and a plurality of electric connection lines connecting each of the plurality of contact members to the sensor unit. All of exposed surfaces of the contact members and at least part of the electric connection wires are coated with an electrically insulating layer, and all of exposed surfaces of the thin film are not coated with the electrically insulating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
