PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve maintenance and running characteristics by using outer rotor motors as motors for driving two running wheels independently, engaging a fitted part of running wheel with an engaging part disposed at the rotor of each motor, and connecting it thereto by a connection member so as to be detachable. SOLUTION: In the case where this small riding vehicle is applied to a bendable wheelchair, to both side surfaces of a riding vehicle frame 2, tires 10 are respectively fitted. The tire 10 is integrally constructed with a brushless direct drive motor 4 of an outer rotor permanent magnet type. Below a wheelchair seat, a storage battery is disposed so that it may be installed in a battery case integrated with a controller so as to be removable and it can supply a current to the motor 4. To the motor 4, an outer wheel fitting part for mounting it, is attached, by which the outer wheel integrated with the tire 10 is fixed by fitting. The motor 4 is connected to the tire 10 by threadedly fitting a bolt to be inserted in each of bolt fitting holes formed on the part 6 into a nut 6 disposed at a corresponding position of the wheel 14. |
