PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera device having an alarm function made more convenient for use, a set time report method, and a program for use in implementation of this method. SOLUTION: When an alarm time is set, a user is made to select an image or sounds to be used to report the set time, and set data showing the selected image or sounds is stored in a flash memory 27 together with the alarm time. When the set time comes, the image shown by the set data is displayed on a display part 24 or the sounds are outputted from a speaker 30. In the case that the selected image is an image (a still image or a moving image) with sounds, sounds accompanied with the image are outputted from the speaker 30 simultaneously with display of the image. In the case that charging is performed in a charge control part 33 at the set time, charging is temporarily stopped to display the image or output sounds, and thereafter charging is restarted.
