PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boot used in a universal joint improved in sealing performance. SOLUTION: An engagement surface to a housing in an engagement part 11 is provided with two or more annular sealing parts 12 closely adhering to the outer peripheral surface of the housing, and a rib 13 for preventing the sealing parts 12 from tilting (especially tilting in the axial direction) is provided in the vicinity of a boundary between a circular-arc part 11a and a recessed part 11b.
