摘要 The present invention defines a method to improve adhesion capacity between a synthetic polymer nonwoven and synthetic polymer nonwoven or synthetic polymer film by pretreating the synthetic polymer nonwoven surface with atmospheric pressure plasma. One aspect of the present invention is to use this method to improve bonding strength of a base sheet material and hook material for the production of fastening tapes by using relative less amount of adhesive material in comparison to adhesion of non atmospheric plasma pretreated components. It is an another aspect of the present invention to use this method to adhere fastening tapes to the side panels of absorbent articles by using less amount of adhesive material. Adhesion of other relevant parts of disposable absorbent articles to each other is within capability of the present invention.
