<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a stand-up assisting function, capable of reducing burdens on the body of a seated person when the person stands up, and allowing the seated person to smoothly stand up by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A seat 5 is disposed in the L-shape as seen from a side along a seat surface and a backrest surface.
